Vintage Linens

Welllllll, I just finished starching and ironing a bunch of old linens for myself and my etsy spot.  I love old linens, doilies, napkins, etc.  You just cannot get any thing like them today.  They take extra work and love but are totally worth it.  I will post some pics of them.  I am going to be putting some new stuff on my Etsy spot.  www.etsy.com/shop/onegdnurse so check it out!!

San Francisco's Finest

We had a great time the weekend of March 8-11.  My wonderful DIL over at Seeing Snowflakes blog was honored by the Cystic Fibrosis as one of "San Francisco's Finest" at a cocktail party with awards.  Over all about $40,000. was raised and I am proud to say a San Francisco Souvenir pillow that I designed and embroidered went for $100. in the silent auction.  Above you see My hubby on the left, my DIL in the middle with my son in the back and Colleen's parents next to them.  My other son is on the right behind me.  We went to the Cliff House for lunch and had a wonderful time.  It was a bright and shiny day and the view was gorgeous.  I am also adding some pics of the sutro baths that are slowly wearing away.  This area has a rich history. 

Its a New Year!!!

Wow, I cannot believe my last post was in September!  I keep telling my honey that this working thing gets in the way of my hobbies!  I decided after the Christmas stuff was all put away except for the tree to keep out a snow scene on my dining room table and I will list some pics here.  I hope everyone had a great holiday and is looking ahead to a great year with lots of travel, love and family get togethers doing all the things that we love.

I am finally back.

I am not exactly sure what happened to this year, but I am just now getting some time to blog.  We had a great year, with many little trips with antiquing and new missions!! We had a short season up at Huntington Lake due to snow in June.  We were actually up there camping the week before July 4th in the snow!!! We had several camping trips at the lake and since we love to sail so much we have decided to consider a larger boat, so.... the Hannah Lee is up for sale or sail:).  Hopefully within the next couple of weeks I will get this blog back on track just in time for the holiday season.  Happy to be here!! I'm Late, I'm Late. No I am not Pregnant!!!

This month has flown by, except for a skirt and shirt for Hannah I have no sewing projects to show you. Between working alot and being out of town I don't have much to show for October and my blog has been sorely neglected. I am adding a fews pics of how Hannah and I decorated the house for Halloween, one of my favorite Holidays of the year.  I am already thinking of Thanksgiving and my table and the house decorations, how about all of you!!!
